When you see the comics of Legends of the Realm, you may call this a labor of love. A fun excursion that takes place in a fantasy world.

For us, it has been the great five-year journey through a kingdom that is a real part of a vibrant world. Each issue takes us to the widest edges of the kingdom, but just beyond, you can almost see the great threats and neighbors all around Dannisfire. You can check out the map and see just what we are talking about.

Providentia is in the northwest, along the edge of the forest of Ardenne. It's a forest kingdom of elves, faeries, and a Maelstrom, guarded by their jealous queen.

Far to the south is Khalthum Gorge, one of the few passes between Dannisfire and the militant Sanctaidd Theocracy.

Fountaine, the ever growing need to see what lies beyond the wider world and the Jiraihc, a people that seems comfortable either wandering the desert or sailing the Inland Sea, trading with all partners.

Bluvomn is a small fishing village, but it realizes the pressing need to deal with the raiders of the Rizzenmast. Pirates and lost souls that would rather steal from their southern neighbors rather than starve in the winter.

And Mount Shadahkerr. A reminder that some mysteries, some secrets, are meant to outlast even the line of kings.

In the center of it all is the Watchtower. A new miracle, built by Marcus Cairn, wrangled by the princess Sevrine, and brought to life by Camriddeon. A testament to the lasting power of a kingdom many think is on the brink of collapse.
