We are almost there.

In just one week, we officially launch the Kickstarter campaign for Legends of the Realm Volume 1 - and today, I wanted to give you an early look before anyone else sees it.

This project has been a long time coming, and I’m incredibly excited to finally share it with you.

State of the Inkdustries

Oh, there is so much. We've been getting new art for Legends of the Realm, and finalizing one team after another for what is coming this year.

But the news that mattered the most to me this week was from the editor for "The Shattered Wing." After a careful review, she said that the book is almost ready for being published. There are some minor details (that only become major if I DON'T fix them), but that the writing was good, characters interesting, and the plot logically sound.

I know this seems like neutral sort of praise, but when I read it I was ready to cry. I've been so immersed in Tir Aileni and this epic for the last few years. Writing in-between my kids' naptimes and juggling just about everything else and I was so worried that the quality of my writing suffered in a major way.

But now I get to add something else to my juggling. Writing comic scripts, book two, and revising book one as I start looking for beta readers and the next step forward to publication.

Golly, I have to get through a comic, a graphic novel, and two epic fantasy novels this year. This is going to be a rather fascinating summer.
