Guess what? Our last show of the year is happening in just 2 hours!

I am so very excited about this show for a number of reasons. It's family friendly, and promises to be a cool but sunny day.

But also, this last show of the year will also be the FIRST time we are selling volume 1 of Legends of the Realm to people!

This week, COO Kacy and I spent a few days making sure our U.S. backers had their books shipped out, and now we get to see what people think about the books in person!

There is so much to talk about this week, from what is happening with The Innkeeper's Dirge, to new artwork, to our work on Legends of the Realm.

However, if you are near Medford, come on down for this free event, get some good books, and enjoy the wonderful day.

State of the Inkdustries

Legends of the Realm, Volume 1 - Like I mentioned before, we are starting to reach out into the wide world! We are expanding into shops in the greater Boston area, and getting these books into new hands! If you want your local bookstore or comic shop to carry Legends of the Realm, email us their information and we'll reach out to them!

Other Stories from Legends - The Starling's Call has been completed art wise. All that is left is lettering, a cover, and the front and back matter. Eileen Widjaja did such an amazing job with this new foray into the kingdom of Dannisfire and the Sanctaidd Theocracy.

The Innkeeper's Dirge - I didn't get to write as much as I would have liked this week, but it is VERY understandable given the focus on shipping. However, our cover artist Marta is reformatting The Shattered Wing, and working on some wonderful character illustrations to ensure that the book looks as amazingly professional as possible.

As for what's going on in book three...well, this is definitely not a spoiler. One of the biggest moments that struck out to me as I was writing was thinking that the book is moving too fast, there's too much information going on in just a few chapters! And then I look down, and realize that the first QUARTER of the book isn't done, and we're fifty thousand words in.

Yeah...this series just demands more and more attention. I promise I'm not going to write Brandon Sanderson Stormlight Archive size books.

I promise. I think. I hope.

The Fiorae have a lot to say.

The Lore Corner

Corwyn, the Chronicler

Corwyn the Chronicler. A bard of little renown and even less tact, he’s been chased out of just about every bar and tavern in the Thirty Kingdoms. Down on his luck, but perhaps knowledgeable enough to help guide this band of misfits out of the danger they soon find themselves in.

He’s an affable sort of fellow, and most towns to open their doors to a party with a bard. Corwyn brings some respectability to the Fiorae. But still…what’s in it for him?

Until next time.
