Have you ever tried to figure out how to do all aspects of a planned project at once?

I don't mean a sort of weird, throw everything at the wall and figure out what sticks. I'm talking about what many corporations do seemingly at will. Planning one project, in the midst of another, reviewing a completed project and rolling out a finished one.

Every step of the creative and business process going on at the same time. And we're doing that right now, in this strange mixture of chaos and creativity.

The process is fascinating. In the midst of writing book three of The Innkeeper's Dirge, I'm also finalizing the notes from book one beta readers, and beginning the first readthrough of book two. All the while seeing where the world spins off because of this series.

Luckily, there is such an amazing team here by my side. Our editor, COO, beta readers, are all there working to ensure that the marketing side matches up perfectly with what is being read by you, dear reader.

State of the Inkdustries

The Innkeeper's Dirge - Lots going on here. The beta reading is just about done, ending tomorrow. I've been writing book three this past week, managed about 3,500 words. Book one cover art is starting to get its design finalized before our cover artist really dives into the deep parts of it.

We are also building the Kickstarter page for The Shattered Wing. Hopefully it will be up to your standards come 2027!

Legends of the Realm - The inks continue for both Shania and the Sanctaidd comics, and as The Innkeeper's Dirge continues to develop, I can more easily see the shape of the world that Camriddeon and Dannisfire inhabit.

The Gallantine Empire

The first of the theocracies. Established in the first era of Tir Aileni, the golden age when the five gods walked freely throughout the world. The country of Gallantine was for humanity and elvenkind alike to enjoy, just as Khyrstein was for the dwarves and their sibling gods Croex and Insalvain.

However, soon after Gallantil’s defeat of Phaedron, the Empire changed its purpose. It was to be the bulwark of the world against the scourge of demons. For centuries it united elves and humans together under the cause of their goddess.

But everything changed at Naubleroth. A great council that was supposed to unite all the factions of Gallantil’s followers together ended in betrayal, tragedy, and the deaths of two of the great leaders of their era. The elves fled to the south, and the War of Unanswered Prayers began, spanning centuries of conflict.

Today, the Gallantine Empire sits in the northwest end of the continent. Guarding against the demons that strike out of the Maelswood. Sparrows, Owls, Talons, each a title inspired by the winged Goddess and the need for unity of purpose. The Gallantines are devoted to ensuring the safety of Tir Aileni, at any cost. They will win the War of Unanswered Prayers, defeat the demons, and unite the world.

Gallantil help any who stand in their way.
