Yesterday I got an amazing new box. The comics for issue 6 of Legends of the Realm! The entire Watcher Saga arc, now in hand, and in print for the very first time!

What you see below is the efforts of over 10 years, and an amazing cadre of artists. Camriddeon's tale started way back in 2014, and the comic has only grown since then. The story of the Torn Soul, the continent of Tir Aileni, and the worlds beyond have deepened in ways I could never have imagined when I started to write.

With the new comic, I also did an annual check-up. Every year or so, I try to showcase just where I'm at as a creator. Not just mentally, but physically. And this year shows just how much the library of Jack Holder has grown.

How are the books coming along?

Wonderfully! I just finished with a first review of book 1 of "The Innkeeper's Dirge," the first in that Fiorae series we've been working on. Golly, this book took up 3 binders and quite a few months of editing. But now I know what parts need major help, where it's going, and even connecting to book 2 as that is being written.

2026, I'll be trying to post some weekly round-ups and word counts. I cannot wait to show those to you.

Dead by the Book

I didn't ask for a destiny.

Especially one that says that I'm supposed to destroy every god in existence.

It made the name William Creed a curse. Made me turn tail and run from the only home I knew. Left my friend, my favorite ghost, and hoped that the gods would just forget about me.

But now I'm back. Chasing the one good paycheck I've seen in years. Chasing some kid who's in way over his head, searching for a book that could break reality.
