Step into the world of Legends of the Realm. The continent of Tir Aileni has been ravaged and reshaped over the millennia
Dannisfire
The seat of power for the kingdom of Dannisfire. Nestled in soft woodlands and easy river access to the Inland Sea, the capital has prospered. Coming to the castle one is able to see the graces of court, and the power of the kingdom. Merchants and traders from across the continent have long held Dannisfire as a safe and prosperous trade hub, and the kingdom has responded favorably.
For centuries, the Lunet family has held the throne. Through benevolence, corruption, and naivete, the royal family has thrived through its alliance (and deference) to the noble Quality as a ruling class. As such, Dannisfire has prospered, while the kingdom has suffered.
But recently, the entire Lunet line has been eradicated. Only one survivor remains: a grizzled old veteran of the Sanctaidd wars.
The Sanctaidd Range
A mountainous barrier between the kingdom of Dannisfire and the Sanctaidd Theocracy. The range stretches from the scarred remnants of the continent in the west, all the way to the Inward Sea in the East.
There are few passes through the range. One such pass is the mountain bridge over Khalthum Gorge. Currently guarded by a stone guardian, Dannisfire has protected itself from southern incursion through wars, negotiations, and for the last several years, a very bitter peace.
The Forest of Ardenne
The great forests to the west of the kingdom have long been held inviolate. Populated by the mysterious Fae, most residents of Dannisfire rightly fear what would happen should they ever cross into Queen Ardenne's forests.
Still, power emanates from the forests. It is no coincidence that the Druidic Forest is situated in the west, to keep in eye on the magical forces, and perhaps to nourish from it. And in the north, the mysterious floating city known as Providentia has risen just east of the forest.
The Jiraihc Desert
A desert laying betwixt two seas seems an impossibility to the untrained eye. It has long been rumored that the desert was created as a result of a great duel between two magic-users. Certainly it is almost entirely lifeless, traveled only by bandits and the mysterious Jiraihc mercantile confederacy.
There have been attempts to revitalize the region. A young nobleman has established a magical oasis. Fountaine is hoped to be a model of prosperity for the future. Bringing life to the desert. Whatever the cost.
The Rizzenmast
No rational mortal travels by sea. The gods have long populated the oceans and waters with great and mysterious beasts. Whether there is land beyond Tir Aileni, no one knows.
No rational mortal travels by sea. But none have accused the Rizzenmast of rationality.
The northern archipelago is the last refuge of the desperate and the damned. A scattered network of islands, coves, and shattered ruins, populated by pirates and raiders.
For each and every soul in the Rizzenmast, survival comes at any price. Your soul, your sanity, your shipmate. All that matters is to keep sailing.
Mount Shadahkerr
What is the mountain of shadow?
No one truly knows. Certainly the mountain has existed since time immemoriam. But the powers contained on the mountain slops have defied all who seek to come near. Not Camriddeon, not the might of Dannisfire, not even the Fiorae were able to pierce through the mysteries and find the truth hidden in the shadows.
Only the family resides. And they do not take kindly to trespassers.
